Coastal Charm Ritual

Sister Ines's Poetry Ritual

Sister Ines appears to charm former enemies through recitation while seals chant and crabs dance around a giant serpent.

Story so far

After days of war, Samantha finds non-undead monk seals and land crabs no longer fighting. The seals sing in a chant-like style while the crabs dance around a huge coiled snake.

Sister Ines stands on the serpent's head and recites without any visible card-battle interface. Carl infers that her words may charm the snake and both armies, while Donut insists the effect is poetry rather than song.

The ritual occurs amid zombie young and countless fresh corpses just as Sheol begins ejecting demons, turning the apparent truce into a concentrated possession target.

Appearance

A ritual circle of chanting seals and dancing crabs around a serpent crowned by a reciting nun.

Role

The ritual temporarily stops the seal-crab fighting but gathers vulnerable bodies into the worst possible location for Demon Eviction.

Relationships

Sister Ines Quiteria — Her recitation appears to control or coordinate the formation.
Monk Seal Warriors — The survivors provide the chant.
Red Maníseros Land Crabs — The survivors dance instead of attacking.
Demon Eviction — The mass death and corpse concentration attract the event.
