Chaos-mob baboons with grotesque human faces, bred from a Florida drunk tank, that go berserk in withdrawal.
The Babababoon swarms into a transit station on The Iron Tangle after the purple line's train stops running, driving mobs out of their neighborhoods and into the terminals. A level-17 exclusive mob — the System brags it crossed an Earth baboon with a Florida jail drunk tank — it has a broad, fleshy, disconcertingly human face with features far too small for it, a wholly simian body, and a bright-red backside; many wear ripped novelty t-shirts and backwards ball caps. When Carl's party meets them they are suffering the DTs at stage two, doubling their strength, stripping their reason, and marking them with red exclamation points.
Vomiting, teabagging, and screeching, they hurl themselves at the party and mostly teleport away on hit; Carl's upgraded Powerful Strike one-shots them, Katia Grim wrenches them in half, and Mongo chomps them, netting Carl a pile of their absurd hats.
A simian body — red-assed, fast, and strong — topped by a broad fleshy human-ish face whose tiny eyes, nose, and mouth are lost in too much cheek; often clad in a ripped novelty t-shirt and a backwards baseball cap.
A recurring chaos-mob whose neighborhoods spill into the terminals once trains stop, made deadlier by the DTs.
