Novas

Apollo's grim Primus, armed by his Proctor with a pulseSpear, whose leg Darrow breaks to end the battle for House Apollo.

Story so far

When Darrow storms House Apollo's castle, its Primus Novas nearly turns the tide alone: Proctor Apollo has given him a pulseSpear dripping purple sparks that flips soldiers like broken toys, downing a DeadHorse girl, blasting Milia back, and knocking even Pax to the ground. Darrow, launched ten meters by Pax to shatter Novas's bodyguard, then stalks the Primus like a wolf turning on an elk. Novas lunges first; Darrow spins along the spear's length, breaks his leg with one great slingBlade swing, and takes the weapon.

The grim southern warlord who scorned Darrow as a Pixie and warned he did not fight children moans like a child beneath the Reaper, who sits smugly on his chest — remembering he did not moan so when his own legs were broken in Mickey's carveshop.

Appearance

A grim young Gold hardened into a man, long unbraided hair, weathered bronze face and burning coal eyes; now downed with a broken leg.
