The tiered central plaza of Lykos, ringed by taverns and Gamma homes, where the clans dance beneath the gallows.
The Common is the heart of Lykos, a tiered circular spiral with taverns and repair depots on its lowest level, Gamma's homes above, then supply depots and a sheer wall rising to the Pot in the ceiling. At its center stands a tall gallows where the Society's hanged sway, and around it the clans gather for the Laureltide dance, drinking grendel swill and singing while the Tinpots descend to dole out allowances. To Darrow the swaying skeleton above the dancers is a permanent shadow of his father's fate.
