Gamma
Gamma clan
The favored Red mining clan of Lykos that has held the Laurel and its luxuries for as long as anyone remembers.
Story so far
Gamma is the perennial-winner clan of Lykos, holder of the Laurel since before living memory and therefore of more food, burners, and comforts than any other clan. They live apart from the other clans, up in the Common above the taverns, and their Helldiver Dago is a legend. Despised and envied by Lambda and the lesser clans, they take the Laurel yet again on Laureltide despite Darrow's record pull, seeming to prove Dago's claim that raw count never matters.
Appearance
Drillers marked with a dark-red Gamma cane on their frysuits; dwell in the Common rather than the outer townships.
Role
The privileged, Laurel-hoarding rival clan of Lykos.
Relationships
Dago — Their legendary Helldiver.
Lambda — The rival clan that resents their monopoly on the Laurel.
the-Laurel — The prize they have held for generations.
