The Society

The rigid color-caste civilization ruling humanity across the planets, built on obedience, hierarchy, and sacrifice.

Story so far

The Society is the interplanetary order that governs all of colonized humanity, dividing every person by Color into a fixed hierarchy stamped into the skin as Sigils. Ruled by the Gold Sovereign, it preaches obedience as the highest virtue and casts the enslaved Reds of Mars as heroic pioneers sacrificing to terraform the planet for softer Colors. Its golden pyramid sigil, three barred faces within a circle, burns across every broadcast.

It rules Lykos through Grays garrison troops, Coppers administrators, and the distant threat of its armies, hanging any Red who defies it, as it did Darrow's father after the Dancers-Rebellion.

Appearance

Emblemized by a golden pyramid with three parallel bars on its three faces, all encircled.

Role

The ruling interplanetary civilization and antagonist order enforcing the Color hierarchy.

Relationships

Octavia-au-Lune — Its Sovereign and supreme ruler.
Colors — The caste system of dyed humanity it enforces through Sigils and law.
Sons-of-Ares — The terrorist movement that wars against it, condemned on every broadcast.
