Cheon turns a summons into a revenge ambush, gassing Darrow's party and beating him for the murdered Sons, until Athena disarms and dismisses her for betraying the Daughters' principles.
Cheon leads Darrow's party from Europa's surface through the submarine descent to Helisson, presenting herself as Athena's practical soldier while continuing to needle Lyria and measure the Golds around her. Her contempt for Darrow is rooted in the Io dead and in the older massacre of the Rim Sons enabled by Darrow's names.
At the dock, Cheon uses ceronocyne gas designed to incapacitate Golds, locks the party into their seats, and has heavy Red troopers waiting with manacles. She tells Darrow that a Red knows some debts cannot be forgiven and strikes him repeatedly with a steel gauntlet while others seize the Helm of Ares. Aurae's horrified resistance makes clear this was not the welcome she expected.
Athena stops Cheon immediately, orders her to surrender weapons and report to the Sanctuary, and names the attack a violation of what the Daughters are. Cheon leaves ashamed, not triumphant. Her punishment does not erase her grief or the political truth behind it, but it proves that she tried to substitute her own rage for the authority she claimed to serve.
A massive Jovian ultraheavy Red with scarlet eyes, a bionic nose, and the dense build of a high-gravity worker. She wears heavy combat armor on the operation, her voice deep and her bearing bluntly martial.
Cheon is the Daughters' wounded frontline conscience at its most dangerous, demonstrating how justified grievance can become an abuse when severed from restraint.
