Victra

Victra au Julii · Victra au Barca

After twelve days trapped behind Society lines, Victra returns to the Hollows with Pegasus survivors, Cicero leashed as a captive, and Ajax's rotted head as a gift.

Story so far

Victra is a Julii Gold and Republic commander whose sudden Phobos landing broke Lysander's timetable. With Thraxa au Telemanus and Obsidian fighters she set an ambush that killed and beheaded Ajax au Grimmus, but the counterattack left her isolated behind the enemy's advancing lines.

For twelve days the battle of Phobos devolves into a tunnel war of meters and corpses. Victra and the surviving Pegasus Legion fighters fight their way through Sector One rather than surrender or wait for rescue. When she finally reaches the Hollows, she looks bloodshot, feral, and ruined by the effort, but she leads the return as a victory parade.

She presents Virginia au Augustus with two deliberate trophies: Cicero au Votum alive on a leash and Ajax's rotted head, because the rest of the Storm Knight could not be carried out. The gifts turn grief and survival into political leverage, proving that Victra's impossible raid has kept a sharp edge despite the long grind.

Appearance

Tall, broad, and tyrannically muscular, with knife-sharp cheekbones and a shaved warhawk. Green battle armor and a blood-red-painted face are now blackened and ruined; her eyes are bloodshot and feral after twelve days behind enemy lines.

Role

Victra is the Republic commander who converts a desperate counterattack into a hard-won return, a high-value prisoner, and proof of Ajax's death.

Relationships

Virginia au Augustus — Virginia receives Victra's battered force and the prisoner that may finally give the Sovereign leverage to recover Kavax.
Cicero au Votum — Cicero is Victra's living trophy, dragged into the Hollows on a leash after Pegasus Legion breaks through Sector One.
Ajax au Grimmus — Ajax is dead by Victra's hand; she carries only his rotted head home from the ambush.
Thraxa au Telemanus — Thraxa survives the long route behind enemy lines at Victra's side, helping bring Pegasus Legion back to the Hollows.
