Mining Blast Charges began as a tunnel contamination safeguard; Juliette now carries dynamite for her planned assault on Silo One.
Story so far
Walker first reported a proposal to rig the tunnel to explode if the dig encountered bad air. Charges were installed as a precaution, and Shirly arranged for them to be triggered from the opposite side of the crossing; Juliette intended to use them to seal the evacuation tunnel. Afterward, Juliette requested leftover charges to breach the top of Silo One.
A transferred mechanic estimated that twenty to thirty sticks could breach its airlock door, compared with eight used against the one-inch plate at the stairwell base. Juliette now carries sticks of dynamite on her back while traveling with Raph.
