Story so far
A kua-tin with significant power over Carl's fate comes to speak with him, prompting Mordecai to warn Carl not to upset her. She is Zev, a female kua-tin in Borant Corporation's communications department and a Dungeon Admin, assigned as Carl and Donut's PR Agent through the Crawler Assisted Outreach Program. She filters interview and panel requests, opens a special chat channel, and admits she is on the crawlers' side, both because their survival benefits her and because her family would be wiped out if she displeases her boss.
Zev speaks directly into Carl's mind, reporting that the save-the-elderly storyline plays well though ~20% of the focus group calls the residents dead weight, and she urgently warns Carl and Donut to reach the safe room before Jack's incident. She was put in a 'time out' and replaced by Mukta, and was censured and suspended by the System AI for warning Carl about the rage elemental (the censure was overturned on appeal). During a show debriefing she explains the game's politics, fan-fiction, and floor structure; her next scheduled appearance for Carl and Donut is on Odette's show.
