OPA captain of the lithium freighter Barbapiccola, blockaded in orbit, who all but orders Holden to break the siege.
Kasim Andrada is captain of the independent OPA freighter Barbapiccola, the ship that carried the Ganymede refugees to Ilus and now sits in orbit holding several hundred tons of raw ore — nearly a dozen tons of lithium once refined, enough to give the colony a real toehold. In a recorded message to Holden, he thanks Fred Johnson for the help and then, treating Holden as Fred's OPA mouthpiece, effectively orders him to make his first priority breaking the Edward Israel's blockade so the Barbapiccola can carry its ore to the Pallas refineries where buyers wait. RCE insists the lithium is theirs until arbitration says otherwise.

Captain of the colonists' lithium freighter; the Belter side's voice pressing Holden to lift the blockade.
