Edward Israel

Royal Charter Energy's ship, arriving in orbit over Ilus to land its governor and staff — its shuttle crippled by the settlers' bomb.

Story so far

The Edward Israel is the Royal Charter Energy vessel that carries the corporation's provisional governor, security team, and science and technical staff on an eighteen-month burn to Ilus/New Terra. It executes a braking burn and reaches high orbit ahead of the settlers' expectations, then drops a heavy shuttle toward the contested landing pad. That shuttle, descending too soon and too close to Basia Merton's barrel bombs, is caught by the blast and streaks down beyond the valley trailing fire.

Role

Corporate colony ship; the vessel delivering RCE's government to the world, and the origin of the doomed shuttle.

Relationships
