The company that rents out system-integration cores and refused Borant at the last minute, stranding Zev in a spacesuit.
Hinter is, in Zev's words, the company that normally rents out the cores necessary for system integration. The dual-layer system integration used for Earth's initial capture and subjugation was supposed to be replaced by the pocket system at the end of the third floor; when it wasn't, everyone assumed Borant Corporation was simply being cheap. In fact Hinter refused to let them use the cores at the last minute, and Zev does not know the details — 'confusing, boring, business stuff' she does not fully understand herself.
The practical consequence is that the dungeon's protections are not in place as they should be, and Zev must wear her full spacesuit and diving helmet whenever she enters, for the foreseeable future. Carl wants very much to ask more, and knows better than to.
Never seen; a corporate name attached to rented system-integration cores.
The vendor whose last-minute refusal left the dungeon's system integration incomplete.
