Queasy Resistance

Queasy debuff resistance

A resistance skill earned by repeatedly enduring the Cornets' nausea attack until the body adapts.

Story so far

Queasy is a non-magical, physical debuff — real-world sonic prey-incapacitation weaponized by the Red-Cornets — that renders victims violently sick, double-visioned, and unable to move. Mordecai explains earplugs won't help and there's no quick fix mid-fight, but the body naturally builds resistance: fight the creatures in small groups and a Queasy Resistance skill notification eventually comes. After roughly a dozen hits over an hour of grinding, Carl, Princess-Donut, and Katia-Grim all receive the resistance simultaneously, after which the Cornets become trivial.

Mongo was immune from the start owing to his anatomy.

Role

An adaptive defense the party grinds out to neutralize the Yellow Line's sonic-attacking rabbit mobs.

Relationships

Red Cornet — The mob whose nausea attack the skill defends against.
Mordecai — Advises grinding small groups until the resistance skill triggers.
