Story so far

Gary appears only as hardware. Before turning on the portal, Carl pats the two Growler Gary left hands in The Def Leppard Cart's cockpit to make sure they are still firmly in place — the biometric key that lets crawlers operate hobgoblin rail equipment. They hold for the entire event.

He also surfaces in conversation. When Princess Donut picks a fight with a dog-race crawler, Katia Grim says she thought Donut was getting better after all that business with Growler Gary. Carl's answer is that this is better, and that Katia should hear her on the subject of cocker spaniels.
