Banshee Station 116

Station 116 · Banshee Station

A multi-exit Yellow Line station honeycombed with tunnels, home to drugged Red Cornets and a mysterious pair of sealed robots.

Story so far

Banshee Station 116 is a stop on the Yellow-Line where Carl's party disembarks to hunt and investigate. Unlike the single-exit platforms before it, it opens into a sprawl of low, dripping, slime-slick cave tunnels, four large rooms, a pair of incongruous bathrooms, and what first looks like a first-floor-style boss room. Every ten minutes a fresh wave of Red-Cornets shuffles up from the depths to board the next train — an endless supply the party realizes are addicts, cycling out to a fifth stop for a golden drug-vial fix and teleporting back.

The 'boss room' proves to be a bare warehouse holding only a Wire-Cage-Cart and two dormant Dwarven-Automatons, gated by a Control-Sigil only Carl can see. Carl scraps the robots for ~15 tons of crafting metal and clears the station, deepening the party's map of the Tangle's grim, purposeless underworld.

Appearance

A large station of twisting, low rocky caves with dripping ceilings and slime-coated walls, four gathering rooms littered with empty vials and one scorched wall, a long concrete hallway leading to a warehouse-sized chamber with barn-style metal doors.

Role

An investigation-and-grind stop where the party first glimpses the sealed-robot mystery and the Cornets' drugged cycle.

Relationships

Red Cornet — The skinless, drug-addled rabbit mobs that endlessly farm the station and its trains.
Dwarven Automaton — Two dormant industrial robots sealed in its warehouse behind a control sigil.
