Valtay Corporation

Valtay

Maker of the neural implant that keeps giving Carl limited data even where the dungeon UI goes dark.

Story so far

The Valtay Neural Enhancer proves its worth in the transfer room between floors. With the team's UI blocked out, no notifications arriving, screenshots disabled and the one-way doors impassable, Carl finds that the Valtay implant still works, though the information it returns is limited.

That makes Valtay technology one of the few things that continues to function inside The Secondary Zone's restrictions, and one of the few edges Borant Corporation and Loita's new information blackout have not been able to take away. It is a small advantage, and Carl notes it precisely.

Role

Technology corporation whose implant remains functional under the crawl's information lockdown.

Relationships

Carl — Wearer of its implant, which still reports where the UI cannot.
Borant Corporation — Rival corporate presence in the crawl.
