Tserendolgor

the dog soldier woman · the flamethrower crawler

A talking German Shepherd in a Vietnam-era helmet, and she is not a 'he'.

Story so far

Tserendolgor is working a magical flamethrower at station 36's forward defensive position when Princess Donut accuses her of stealing a kill. Her answer is flat: Donut did not call the target, and she is not a 'he'. She is a level-27 Dog Soldier of the Crisper class, a walking talking German Shepherd wearing a Vietnam-era helmet with holes cut out for her ears. Carl cannot begin to guess how to pronounce her name or what nationality she originally was, and knows immediately that a dog-themed race guarantees Donut's dislike. Told by Carl to play nice, Donut is sent to the other side of the room, and Tserendolgor adds "yeah, go to a different position, cat."

Later she is the one who calls for backup when the line breaks — a human beside her is wrapped in tentacles and bursts into mist — and she falls back, which triggers the T-junction counterattack. When Donut says "you're welcome" afterward, she grunts and resets her flamethrower.
