Cleaner Bot

the cleaner bot · the cleaning upgrade · a flying Roomba

Twenty-five thousand gold for a flying Roomba, and the cheapest way out of a room painted in ghoul blood.

Story so far

Bought at the Soda counter from the Bopca the moment the party gets back from station 36, purchased outright by Katia Grim while blood drips off all of them onto the counter. At 25,000 gold it is one of the least expensive environmental upgrades available for a personal space, which says a great deal about the price of the rest.

It is a frisbee-shaped robot of the same broad family as the Mexx-class machines seen in the production trailers, though this one gives no sign of being able to talk. It hums like a muted drone, blinks at the mess in what reads as disdain, and hovers over each patch of congealed blood to zap it magically out of existence. It works quickly and is still nowhere near finished after the party's showers; it has the sense to start with the kitchen counter so at least one corner of the room is habitable. Mongo has to be told not to attack it.

Appearance

A hovering blood-red-flecked disc the size of a serving platter, blinking as it works.

Role

Personal space environmental upgrade; the party's answer to a room repainted in gore.

Relationships

The Personal Space — Installed there and immediately overwhelmed by it.
Bopca — Purchased across its counter, over its objections about the dripping.
Mexx-6000 — Resembles the Mexx-class robots of the production trailers, but appears mute.
