The Sex Workers Who Fell from the Heavens

the murdered-prostitutes quest · the fallen women quest

Completed — the quest to explain the twisted dead women, resolved by extracting Remex's full confession.

Story so far

The quest that has driven the party's third-floor investigation finally completes. Sparked by the twisted female corpses appearing in the settlement's alleys — and by the murder of GumGum — its charge was never to save the women or kill the culprit, but simply to 'find out why.' Piecing it together across the city-elf cult, the Krasue nest, Miss-Quill, and finally Remex, Carl and Princess-Donut learn the women were lured with false Desperado Club promises, twisted into krasue (or killed and fed upon) to fuel Miss-Quill's genocidal Final War. The quest closes the instant Remex delivers the last of his confession — no further killing or building-demolition required.

Its resolution, however, immediately rolls into the punitive doomsday group-quest as Quill's half-cast spell misfires.

Role

The floor's central investigation quest, resolved by understanding rather than combat — and the trigger for the doomsday finale.
