Story so far

GrayCris is the corporation whose illegal exploitation of buried alien remnants drove the disaster on Murderbot's previous contract: it massacred the rival DeltFall expedition using combat-override-controlled SecUnits and tried to kill Dr. Mensah's PreservationAux team. In the newsburst Murderbot reads, The Company, DeltFall, Preservation, and three other non-corporate entities are all ganging up on GrayCris, while some of those same allies fight each other over financial responsibility, jurisdiction, and bond guarantees. Its crimes are the reason Murderbot's own damning security recordings have entered the public record and legal system.
