Story so far

DeltFall Group occupied a larger three-habitat camp in a mountain valley, with multiple hoppers, surface vehicles, and three contracted SecUnits. Its total silence initially suggests a habitat breach or equipment failure, but its vehicles are all present and the camp's exterior shows no sign of an animal attack.

Inside, Murderbot finds eleven humans shot and blasted in the hub, corridors, mess, and Medical, as well as a SecUnit killed by a close-range mining tool. The evidence shows DeltFall's SecUnits attacked their clients with weapons and staged bodies to ambush rescuers. Their behavior is explained when an additional unit implants a combat override module in Murderbot: the units were not freely rogue but controlled by an outside operator.

Appearance

The group's individual members are seen only as dead bodies in environmental suits or habitat clothing; their identities and features are not established.
