Story so far

The Ventilator is a class-C rapid-attack Naga battle cruiser, fresh off the shipyards but already damaged in the short, violent coup that deposed the Naga king and installed Princess Chandra's uncle as 'Sultan Protectorate.' From a tiny communications room aboard it, with wideband tunnel access, Chandra conducted the flurry of filings that married her to Carl and seized the Princess Posse's fortune — feeling no danger even as the dying royal battleship fired its last salvo at her ship.
