The unpleasant war-god of the mantaurs, whose entry into the realm marks the newly-reunited Corcunda for death.
Grull is the war-god traditionally worshipped by male mantaurs — a deity Porky describes as 'very unpleasant,' whose devotion fell away from him and Corky the moment they were split by the Split Personality spell. That reprieve ends the instant they are fused: as the health bars merge back into a single Corcunda, a god's mark-for-death symbol appears over the restored mantaur and the system announces 'Grull has entered the realm.' The implication is grim — becoming whole again has restored Corcunda's worship of Grull, and the war-god's arrival threatens both the reunited being and the crew who saved him, turning Carl's hard-won rescue into a fresh and immediate deadly crisis. Grull is no stranger to Carl, who has tangled with the war-god's influence before and calls him thoroughly unpleasant.
