The hundred-foot gate boss the AI planned to assemble from feast-scarabs — cancelled by a game-breaking error before it could form.
The Sacred Guardian of the Immortal Tem is the floor boss the AI designed for the L'Engle Building race and was 'really looking forward to' — a 'badass 100-foot-tall gate boss' meant to form when the invulnerable Sacred Feaster Scarab Beetle swarms, released from the ruptured Human Shell loops, flowed up to the roof and merged together. It never manifests. A death-cult error connected to Khepri broke the game (the AI likens the malfunction, crudely, to physics failing under impossible pressure), so it cancels the Guardian entirely — leaving the scarabs' aggro switched on and their invulnerability intact, a lethal swarm with no boss to become.
The would-be boss is thus known only as a plan aborted mid-race, its name ('Tem') hinting at the same Egyptian-flavored pantheon as Khepri and the Scavenger's Daughter myth.
Never embodied — an intended hundred-foot gate boss to be assembled from a merging swarm of iridescent feast-scarabs.
