Story so far
Bubble Buddy is the Big Shot Chicken food truck's golden shield upgrade, crafted with Hedy's help for the molten Gasworks Screw Factory heat and the linchpin of the truck's survival kit. Activated on entering the factory, it wraps the truck in a protective bubble against molten steel, and its floating property combines with the gyro to keep the vehicle stable in the air. Paired with a hum-activated Heat Sink button that drops the cab temperature further and a newly installed rocket-acceleration activator, Bubble Buddy briefly turns the truck into a flyer: Carl hits the rockets to clear a vat-gap jump, finds them far too powerful and overshoots, then uses the bubble's floating lift to correct his trajectory in mid-air and swerve back onto the track without falling.
It keeps the crew alive through the metal-pellet room, the molten vats, and the blinding Toddler Cocaine dust.
