Story so far
The Danforth is one of about ten glittering enchanted crossbow bolts Princess Donut wins in a legendary 'Lorena Bobbitt' box (a 7-11 hot-dog-bag-shaped box) for her role in killing the god Meatus. Each bolt does no physical damage but anchors the struck body part in place for two seconds times the shooter's Crossbow skill level — with the ominous note that if the target is moving when hit, 'the physics involved might get a little messy.' Carl immediately grabs one, keen on Donut's Crossbow skill level.
