Story so far
Splooge is a consumable environmental-protection potion the party carries through the L'Engle Building race, where several what-if apartments fill with toxic air. A gulp grants the 'Splooged' status — protection from environmental hazards — with the dose scaling to how much is drunk; Carl downs a full cup for a full hour's protection so he can leave the truck and reach Prepotente on foot through apartment 130's poison air. It tastes markedly worse than expected, making Carl gag, and Jurgen rations his own supply carefully (down to a single dose while trying to retrieve the tapir Sweety).
The system cheekily flags Carl's bold hour-long dose 'when there's only nine minutes left before this race times out.' A gross but life-saving staple of the crawl's grab-bag of crudely-named consumables.
