Sensation Updates

Yes. We have Deactivated the Infected Hardware

News program renamed seven times in an hour to carry Epitome Tagg's real-time messages into the dungeon.

Story so far

Odette holds up Sensation Updates as the day's clearest proof of the Feed Directory Loophole. The program's owners changed its name seven times in the course of a single hour, letting Epitome Tagg hold what amounted to a real-time conversation with the outside world through the still-active feed directory.

As of the moment Odette describes it at council, the program is titled "Yes. We have Deactivated the Infected Hardware"—a direct reply to Tagg about purging Skull Empire hardware from his fleet. Each rename costs roughly 30,000 credits, paid to the Syndicate Entertainment Authority and then to the Plenty for a hot update to the feed. Donut is scandalized: "You can't change the name of a show. It's not right!"

Role

The renamed news program used as a live message board for Epitome Tagg.
