Leader Kill Rule

the action item

Faction Wars rule that kills a warlord the instant his castle is taken, with no cancellation possible.

Story so far

Baroness Victory states it without softening: as far as the rules are concerned, Epitome Tagg will still be killed the moment Team Retribution takes the castle. Whether his organs keep working in Louis afterward is really up to Tagg.

Carl confirms with two adjutants that there is no action item to stop it and tells Tagg so directly over Warlord Chat — he cannot cancel the rule and will not kill everyone else to save one friend. Mordecai adds that Tagg can read the warlord page and watch his own timer run down, which is precisely why he will take Louis with him.

Role

The uncancellable rule that makes the chapter a countdown rather than a negotiation.

Relationships

Epitome Tagg — The warlord the rule will kill.
Team Retribution — Their capture of the castle triggers it.
Baroness Victory — Explains that the rule cannot be evaded.
Adjutant — Two adjutants confirm the rule is uncancellable.
