The 66th Level
Larracos's topmost ring, normally barracks and soldiers, crowded with fleeing civilians during the tower barrage.
Story so far
The 66th is the top level of Larracos, normally occupied by barracks and soldiers. Carl reached it by climbing a building and scaling the wall from the shop-lined 65th.
Instead of soldiers he found hundreds of Larracos NPCs — children and shopkeepers fleeing upward into Shanty Town as the City Defense System spun up around them. A green Poison Splash Tower and a red Fire Lance Tower opened fire downward from here, and the black Gale Strike Tower walked its shots across the level toward Carl, punching holes through the ground. Lava from the cracked The Larracos Aqueduct spread across the far side of the ring.
Appearance
A ring of barracks buildings, cobblestone streets and carts, being chewed apart by gale blasts and encroaching lava.
Role
The last ring Carl crosses before reaching Shanty Town, under full tower fire.
