Warlord Territory

our territory

The claimed holdings whose boundaries limit pursuit and whose loss is announced by warlord notices.

Story so far

Territory drives two of the chapter's decisions. A warlord notice announces that Carl has lost a non-connected territory named Former Prism Castle, ceded to The Dream.

And when Florin messages that his people are picking off fleeing soldiers, he says he does not think it is safe to pursue them outside their own territory. Carl agrees — they have their own wounds to lick and are pretty unorganized right now — keeping the northern push inside their borders while Boomer warns that the enemy will establish a beachhead in the old trenches if they keep moving.

Role

The territorial system defining what the crawlers hold, lose, and dare not chase beyond.

Relationships

Carl — Loses a non-connected holding and limits pursuit to his own borders.
