Gods

The Gods · The Rules of the Gods

The divine powers whose rules protect the transferred NPCs, and who must be held off until Ascendency begins.

Story so far

The rules of the gods are clear: NPCs are Untouchable until Ascendency actually starts. That protection is the legal footing for landing all of Larracos in the cotton fields of The Twelfth Floor ahead of time.

But the crawlers did not trust it to hold. In the meantime, Juice Box's squad of Changelings retained the ability to change into Basilica Guards so they could hopefully keep the gods at bay should any rules change. Ferdinand, for his part, announced he was heading to the twelfth floor to bang some hot goddess chicks. Ysalte, the dead goddess of Larracos, is proof that gods on these floors can die.

Role

The powers presiding over Ascendency, whose rules the crawlers exploit and whose compliance they do not assume.

Relationships

Ascendency — The event held under their rules.
