New Barracks

the new barracks building · mural-covered barracks · main barracks

Freshly built mural-covered barracks that becomes the enemy's cover and the defenders' targeting landmark.

Story so far

The New Barracks stands directly across from the castle's sole entrance, newly built and covered in murals — including a piggie face for Tipid's 104th Naughty Little Piggies and a mantis face from the space's earlier occupants. Crossbow bolts crack harmlessly against its walls.

It becomes the battle's geography. Cloaked Madness Monkeywrenchers shelter at its entrance, on its roof, and around its corners, and Donut calls targets by mural — 'right in front of the mural of the piggie face,' 'in front of the X over the mantis face.' The Reavers paratroopers mass at the bottom of the hill on the building's far side, and one cloaked crew tries to set up a heavy gun beside it before Tina bites them and they explode in her mouth.
