Epitome Household Guard

Epitome honor guard · Epitome security forces

Veteran non-dungeon soldiers serving the Epitome family, now deployed inside the Intercession alongside the crawlers.

Story so far

Boomer singles out the Epitome household guard as the enemy element that most worries him. Now that they are in the Intercession with the crawlers, he warns that the Epitome family is not stupid: their security forces are all veterans of non-dungeon conflicts and are "tough as gristle," unlike the bombardier-class cowards of The Dream who play genocide between desk shifts.

He is uncertain whether the family would commit them to the front this early. If they are there, Epitome Tagg will be with them and they will not be hiding. Separately, Tran reports the fifty zebra mounts spotted in reserve are ridden by mercenaries rather than actual Dream household guard.

Role

Elite veteran bodyguard force of the Epitome family, a rare professional army inside the war.

Relationships

Epitome Tagg — Their commander, who fights at their head

The Dream — Fighting on the Dream's side of the war
