Perpetually hot ink brewed by Shi Maria for Carl's sternum tattoo, now handed over to Rosetta.
Rosetta asks Carl for "the ink the spider used to make that tattoo" alongside the last of the Toraline. The glass container holding the ink that Shi Maria brewed is still hot to the touch, so Carl has to hold it by the top edge, and only a few thimblefuls of liquid remain.
The request comes moments after Rosetta reaches down his shirt collar and presses her ice-cold fingers to The Eye of the Bedlam Bride tattoo on his sternum. Carl feels the eye blink, as if her touch has woken it. Whatever Rosetta intends to do with the ink and toraline in his Saferoom and bomber's studio, she prices the job at four million gold and wants to start at once.

Scarce reagent from Carl's tattooing, now the raw material for Rosetta's war preparations.
