Food Market

the food markets · food market in Shanty Town

Shanty Town food stalls that mysteriously appeared overnight, poisoned by the NPCs then bought out during the ceasefire.

Story so far

Juice Box's papers include intelligence on the food market that mysteriously appeared in Shanty Town overnight, part of the impossible new construction ringing Larracos. Unlike weapons markets, mercenary markets, or Desperado Club entrances, food markets were permitted in the slums, along with multiple temples in ramshackle wooden and metal buildings.

Before The Ceasefire, no team trusted the food market because Juice Box's people had been poisoning all the stock. The ceasefire refreshed every food store, and reps for all teams moved in and bought all the food they could. Carl is looking at Juice Box's now-scrapped plan to destroy the markets once fighting resumed — pointless, since the stock has already been carried away.
