Story so far
Crest builds the behemoths - the largest ships in orbit and, by universal assumption, not defended. The Homecoming Queen is one of theirs, and its Crest pedigree is precisely why nobody ever attempted to shoot at it while everything else above Earth was firing.
York has worked hard to keep the truth quiet: the ship is heavily armed and carries a full complement of enhancement zone guns and beams installed on Porthus's orders. The reputation of the Crest colony's yards is the resistance's best camouflage, and it has already covered the vaporizing of The Orc Yacht.
