character

Bucket Boy

The kid who yanks Tagg's organs free when Mordecai legally can't, and plugs Louis's new gills.

Story so far

When the machine heart stops early and the team isn't ready, Mordecai cannot be the one to remove the organs — doing so would constitute an attack on Epitome Tagg. Bucket Boy does it instead, yanking the whole cluster of heart and lungs out with a wet squelch and throwing the mess over his shoulder onto the ground.

After Mordecai casts the Water Breathing Scroll and gills form on Louis's neck, Bucket Boy jams stops into the slits to hold them open so they will persist once the water breathing ends, then tentatively pulls them back out once Louis wakes. The system notes it almost gave the kill credit for Tagg to "the Bucket Boy kid" before awarding it to Mongo instead.

Appearance

A child working the operating table alongside the adults, hands bloody to the wrist.

Role

The one non-restricted pair of hands able to pull the organs without it counting as an attack.

Relationships

Mordecai — Does the removal Mordecai legally cannot.
Louis — Holds his new gills open with stops.
Mongo — Lost the Tagg kill credit to him by system ruling.
