Water Breathing Scroll
Water Breathing
Scroll cast on Louis to grow gills, used instead of a potion because of his long cooldown.
Story so far
Once the naiad organs are seated and the Kua-tin Rebreather is sewn into the bronchial, Mordecai casts the Water Breathing scroll on Louis. They use the scroll version rather than the potion because Louis is now on an extra-long potion cooldown.
Gills form on his neck and Mordecai quickly connects a few tubes from the new organs to them. Bucket Boy jams stops into the slits so the gills will persist after the water breathing expires — and they do. Louis wakes coughing water through them, and Mordecai has to tell him twice to switch off the water breathing notification.
