character

Firas

Crawler who received Mordecai's anti-alcohol potion on the fifth floor alongside Louis, cited as Tough Love's precursor.

Story so far

Firas is named when Mordecai explains the lineage of Tough Love: it is kin to the anti-alcohol potion he gave Louis and Firas on the fifth floor, only with a long brew time that required starting a full floor in advance.

The reference gives the improvised Glory Bound cure a thread of established practice behind it, which is about all the reassurance anyone in the Field Hospital gets.

Role

Earlier recipient of Mordecai's corrective potions, invoked as precedent.

Relationships

Mordecai — Received his anti-alcohol potion on the fifth floor.
Louis — Dosed at the same time.
