Fall Potion

Fall potions

Potion that lets a crawler survive a long drop, once used by the Reavers to leap down the center of Larracos.

Story so far

Explaining why invaders do not simply jump down the open middle of Larracos, Arief tells Carl that they have tried it. In another season, the orcs marched down the streets while the Reavers jumped straight into the funnel using invisibility and Fall potions, getting to the castle at the bottom first. They still lost that season.

Arief insists the trick will not work this time because of the City Defense System. The mention is one of the chapter's few glimpses of prior-season tactics, and it tells Carl that the shortcut exists in principle even if the awakened city has since closed it off.

Role

Consumable that made the funnel's central shortcut survivable in a previous faction wars season.

Relationships

Reavers — Used them with invisibility to jump down the funnel in a past season

City Defense System — Now expected to prevent the tactic from working again

Larracos — Used to bypass the city's ring-by-ring descent
