The Wrong Changeling

The One Who Touched a Deity

The only changeling to touch a god and survive, described by Juice Box simply as 'wrong.'

Story so far

Among all of Team Retribution's attempts, exactly one changeling has physically touched a deity and lived. Juice Box volunteers this without prompting and then trails off: 'only one of us has touched a deity, and that one is... wrong.'

She offers no elaboration — not the god involved, not when it happened, not what 'wrong' means in practice. The admission lands as a warning about the price of Touching a God: the changeling who died reaching Bast may have gotten the cleaner outcome. It is also the gap Justice Light proposes to close, offering to show them how to touch a god without being killed.

Appearance

Unspecified; only that something about them is wrong after contact with a deity.

Role

The single surviving god-touched changeling, and a living caution about the cost of the attempt.

Relationships

Team Retribution — Their only surviving god-touched member.
Juice Box — Acknowledges the survival and the wrongness in the same breath.
Touching a God — The sole documented survivor of the attempt.
