character

Geyrun

Emberus's Son

Emberus's murdered son, whose unsolved death brings a fire god down onto the ninth floor.

Story so far

Geyrun is named in the This Is How the Gristle Grinds quest as the son of Emberus who was murdered. The system dryly notes that the mystery probably isn't going to be solved today, even if any of the crawlers survive.

His death is nevertheless the engine of the entire chapter: Samantha has admitted to being Emberus's daughter and having a part in it, which brings the god into the realm demanding her interrogation and promising to cremate the ninth floor regardless of what she tells him.

Role

The murdered god-son whose death drives Emberus's ultimatum.

Relationships

Emberus — His grieving father.
Samantha — Claims a part in his death.
Find out who killed my son — The quest that exists because of him.
