Emberus's new quest ordering Carl to kill a hundred of Hellik's worshipers before reaching the twelfth floor.

Story so far

Instead of cancelling the standing order to kill his brother, Emberus responds to Hellik's overtures by issuing a fresh quest, headed simply "Fuck my brother. Fuck him to the fires of Sheol." The objective: kill one hundred worshipers of Hellik before reaching The Twelfth Floor.

The time limit is the collapse of The Eleventh Floor, though as a practical matter the system advises completing it before finishing the Kill Hellik quest. The reward is a permanent boon of Celestial quality. Carl notes with relief that at least there is no penalty for failing this one — but the quest lands alongside a far more disturbing personal message from Emberus, and Carl begins for the first time to seriously consider taking a Smite instead.
