Crest

Shipbuilders whose enormous, supposedly defenseless behemoths give the resistance its perfect disguise.

Story so far

Crest builds behemoths - the largest ships in orbit, and vessels not known for their defenses. That reputation is why nobody ever fired on the Homecoming Queen during the orbital fighting, and why the shooters around it never guessed what was aboard.

Under Crest's harmless silhouette, Porthus installed a full complement of enhancement zone guns and beams, and York worked hard to keep the ship's real armament secret. By the epilogue the Crest behemoth in Earth orbit is very likely the strongest warship there, having already vaporized The Orc Yacht with a point-defense weapon and passed unremarked.

Role

The shipbuilder whose civilian reputation conceals the resistance's flagship.
