Spot Number Eight

Story so far

When Elle accidentally triggered the Gate of the Feral Gods during the eruption, the portal opened onto spot number eight — the woods above the Madness's castle. The plan had been for Carl and Elle to go through together, after which Carl would use a standard teleport trap to escape back to Shanty Town once they were done.

With the gate stolen and the schedule wrecked, Samantha goes through instead and alone, with Boomer on chat to steer her if the feral god gives chase. The site the travelers leave behind is doomed: when the portal times out, the feral god will emerge exactly where they were standing.
