Rosetta's Tattoos

the tattoo thing

Brewing tattoo process that will let crawlers share skills and spells without killing anyone.

Story so far

When Carl hears Tipid describe Indelible Woe, he asks whether it's like the tattoo thing Rosetta is trying to make them do. Tipid says it's similar but humane: Rosetta's tattoos will let crawlers share skills and spells without actually killing anyone, unlike the necklace, which strips spells from crawler victims. The catch is timing—the tattoos just need to brew a little longer, and as Carl notes bleakly, they don't have longer with the Northern Army already digging in.

Appearance

An in-progress alchemical tattoo preparation, still brewing.

Role

Rosetta's ethical alternative to crawler-farming artifacts for sharing spells and skills.

Relationships

Rosetta — Creator, pushing the crawlers to accept them.
Indelible Woe — The murderous artifact they replace.
Tipid — Vouches for them to Carl.
