character

Princess Chonkalot

Donut's grandmother, a celebrated North American Persian with over seventy best-in-show wins.

Story so far

Carl raised Princess Chonkalot to puncture Donut's lecture on the profound importance of names, pointing out that she has a brother named Skittles and a grandmother named Princess Chonkalot.

Donut took no offense: her grandmother won over seventy best in shows and was one of the most celebrated North American Persians — until, she added, her granddaughter came along and shattered all her records. The exchange sits inside Donut's larger argument that a name determines the path a creature takes in life, which is why Sir Rendlegore's naming required such delicate handling.

Appearance

A show-champion North American Persian cat.

Donut's decorated grandmother, cited as proof her family names honor the past.
