Story so far

The Impetus Point is a Tunnel Node that reaches the furthest point in the known galaxy, and its gate is described as "forbidden." It is the destination of Porthus's plan for the Open Intellect Pacifist Network: after buying a generation ship with the stolen funds, he and the families of the crawlers will run to the The Plenty system, pay the goats with a second expensive ship and the remaining money, and take passage through the Impetus Point.

From there they intend to get as far from the center system as possible, returning only when and if the inevitable wars and chaos that follow the crawl finally settle.
